Theory three
During three hours we build upon the knowledge you gained from the earlier course components Theory One and Theory Two. This time our focus is on what is required, equipment-wise, to complete a tour from Chamonix to Zermatt along the classic Haute Route. After the completion of this course component, the aim is that you know what’s required of you, and how to prepare in order to complete a Haute Route in the best possible way.

- Full Haute Route review – day stages, mountain huts, view map to identify specific difficulties, ridge walks, glaciers etc.

As this component is obligatory, it cannot be validated. It’s a thorough briefing for Pure Academy Three.
